Fee: Male 4,500 yen, Female & Students 3,500 yen. (include all you can eat and buffet) 

Access: 7 mins walk from Shinjuku-gyoen station (Exit 1).  There are other ways to get to this event, but this is the most convenient.

In 2011, we are going to start a women’s competitive touch team.  This will involve approximately 10 competitive tournaments throughout the year as well as trainings.

The Tokyo Warriors is a competitive touch team that some of the FWT players are involved in.  They competed in the All Japan Tournament on Sunday and came 4th.  The competitive season is now over and the results were as follows:

ITS (Seoul) – 2nd

Japan Cup EAST – 2nd

Kanto Touch Super League (KTSL) – 3rd

All Japan – 4th

Despite the fact that the competitive season is now over, if you are interested in playing competitively next year, please let one of the FWT organizers know.

Last Wednesday, we put a social team in the Kanagawa touch tournament.

The results were as follows:

FWT Tigers 2 – 2 Try Peak
FWT Tigers 1 – 2 Komae Touch
FWT Tigers 1 – 4 Shonan Grass Boys
FWT Tigers 2 – 2 CSK

The games were 10 minutes in duration.

The Tigers put in a solid effort and got some good results, especially considering that Komae and Shonan are both competitive touch teams.

Well done!  Earlier this year, we started a Facebook page to keep everyone informed about the latest information regarding touch in Japan as well as providing a platform for everyone to post photos and write comments.

Now we have over 100 members!  This is great for the FWT community.  Lets keep adding comments, footage and photos on there while the group expands!

Where: Oba ( 大庭 ) Sports Ground, Fujisawa

Time: 8.30 – 15.00 (we will meet at Fujisawa station at 8am so that we can get to the ground ontime)
