There is an Omori tournament on Sunday 26th September.   The details for the tournament is as follows:

What: Omori Touch Tournament

When: Sunday 26th September

Where: Tokyo Gas Omori Ground (direct translation of the ground name)

Meeting time:  At the station at 9.30am.  Games start at 10am and everything finishes at 13.00.

Player fees: JPY 1000 for men, 500 for girls

Date:: 2nd Oct. (Saturday)

Time: 12:30 – 16:00

Venue: KEIHINZIMA KINROUSYA KAIKAN (Keihin island worker hall gym)
Directions: Take the Keihinzima bus to the 5th bus stop from JR OMORI station (KEIHIN TOHOKU line).
The bus stop you will get off at is the “KEIHINZIMA NI-BANCHI (at 2-Keihin island)

The Tokyo Warriors made it to the final of the Japan Cup EAST!

The final was against Hayabusa.  It was a very balanced game with the scores being tied 1-1 at half time and 2-2 deep into the second half.  Unfortunately Hayabusa (champions) scored two tries near the end of the game to win 4-2.

The top for teams for the Japan Cup EAST will now compete in the All Japan Tournament (East and West combined) on November 7^th in Gotemba (Shizuoka prefecture) to determine the best team in Japan!  Good luck!

This is a great achievement and a definite improvement on their result in 2009!

After taking a break for summer, Fun with Touch is going to start up again.
