Fun with Touch would like to congratulate the following touch footy players:
Araki, Ben, Brett, Glenn and Shigeru
The aforementioned players have been selected in the wider training squad for the 2010 Japan National Touch Rugby Team.
This goes to show that FWT is a diverse club for players of all playing abilities! We always have players that are new to touch rugby join us along with intermediate and competitive players, both women & men from various nationalities including Japanese, American, Australian, British, New Zealand, China and many more!
The five players selected for the Japan squad consistently attend FWT on Saturday and are always enjoying playing touch rugby with everyone!
From this point onwards, training will begin for the 28 member strong Japan squad and continue up until December. From December, the squad will be reduced to 16 (14 players, 2 travelling reserves) to go to the Touch Rugby World Cup in Scotland in June 2011.
Again, this is great news so we wish the five of you all the best with this!
