Interested in Rugby League?

22 February 2010

Rugby league is played in Japan, but is not as common as rugby union or touch rugby.  Its a very physical sport, and outside of a few subtleties its comparable to that of rugby union.

If you are interested in playing in the Japanese rugby league season, please look at the schedule below or email Amane Konishi (Koni) at tokyorugbyleague@hotmail.com

The schedule is as follows:

Match 1: March 27/28 @ Yamanashi City
Match 2: April 10/11 @ Yamanashi City
Match 3: April 24th (18.40 Kick off) @ Katsushika
Match 4: May 8/9 May @ TBA
Match 5: May 22nd (18.40 Kick off) @ Katsushika
Match 6: June 12/13 @ TBA
Match 7: June 26th (18.40 Kick off) @ Katsushika
Match 8: July 10th (18.40 Kick off) @ Katsushika
Match 9: August 1st (Afternoon Kick off) @ Katsushika
Match 10: August 22nd (Afternoon Kick off) @ Katsushika

The player base is small, so if you are available on one of these days listed above, if you let Koni know that you would like to play, you will be able to get game time.
